The beds are so cosy

All the beds are cosy with goose down/feather duvets and electric blankets. The private bathroom is for you only - other guests will be accepted only with your approval. Our Bed and Breakfast rooms are upstairs and very private.

Breakfast awaits you

The dining family room gets the sun from early morning till mid afternoon. Relax over breakfast - your choice of continental, traditional bacon and eggs, or chefs speciality, scrambled eggs.   The home made bread is delicious!   A warm and inviting room with a wood burner.   Evening meals are available by arrangement.

When the day is done...

We look forward to relaxing and hearing about your travels and will assist you in any way we can.   After dairy farming for 25 years we are enjoying our change in lifestyle.   Our family have left home - Tokyo, London and Palmerston North.   Mandy, our Australian Terrier and Lola the grey tabby are keen to make your acquaintance.

Put on some gumboots

We are breeding Highland Cattle and hope you will be interested in wandering down the paddock to admire them.   This year we have had six calves born and here we have Mariannagh with Maxine, born 23 October.

I love all this attention!

Tommy, who was hand reared this year (Mum thought one baby was quite enough thank you ), just laps up all the attention he can get!   Malcolm with a group of Japanese visitors at Ardo Highland Haven. We also run some coloured sheep. This is Dorothy with in October.
