These intriguing cattle captivate almost everyone. The young
calves are inquisitive and look like little teddy bears. Visitors welcome. Our Highlanders range from P4 to B
Grade. Our aim is to increase our numbers of breeding stock. We have
heifers, bulls and steers of mixed ages. If you are interested in purchasing
an animal we may be able to help you - please give us a call.

|
Highland Cattle are noted for their hardiness, placid
nature and ease of care. Lower grades are good for beef and
produce marbled meat. They love the poorer pastures, especially
the weeds. Their size makes them ideal lifestyle block animal.
They require some shade in the heat as they have a very thick skin and heavy
coat. Just watch them in the rain when other stock are diving
for cover - they just relish it - reminds then of bonny Scotland. |
